FDA Greenlights Pancreatic Cancer Breakthrough That Doubles Survival Time

The FDA just approved daraxonrasib (Rasonque), the first drug to attack the mutated RAS protein that fuels over 90% of pancreatic cancers. In a pivotal trial of 500 patients with advanced disease, the once-daily pill doubled median overall survival to 13.2 months compared to 6.7 months on standard chemotherapy, with fewer severe side effects.
