To authenticate your account, enforce plan-based usage limits (e.g., AI summaries per day, chat messages per day), and deliver AI-powered news summaries, categorized articles, and interactive AI chat features.
We use artificial intelligence to generate news summaries, blog articles, sentiment analysis, and chat responses. Your chat messages are processed by AI providers to generate responses but are not used to train AI models.
AI-generated and source-derived content may contain inaccuracies or errors. Lavamgam is not responsible for the accuracy of such content. We commit to reviewing and correcting inaccuracies as soon as they are identified. You can help by reporting incorrect content via our Report Content page. For full details, see our Terms of Service.
To send newsletters (if subscribed) via a third-party email service provider, service updates, and important notifications about your account or changes to our policies. You can unsubscribe from newsletters at any time.
To understand how our service is used via Analytics, identify technical issues, and improve features. Analytics data is aggregated and not linked to your account.
Premium subscription payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors (Razorpay for Indian users). We never store your full credit card number, CVV, or banking details on our servers.
The payment processor may collect your card details, billing address, and transaction history. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policy. We will only receive confirmation of payment status, subscription plan, and transaction identifiers.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not run advertisements on our platform.

Our service providers may process and store data on servers located in the United States and other countries. By using Lavamgam, you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. We ensure that our service providers maintain appropriate security measures to protect your data.
We retain your account information (email, role, provider) for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Usage counters (summary views, chat message counts) are retained while your account is active and deleted upon account deletion. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's standard retention policies (typically 14 months).
Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Upon unsubscribing, your email is removed from our mailing list within 7 days.

Lavamgam is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. You can view your account information (email, role, provider) in your account settings page at any time.
You can unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email we send.
You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated personal data by contacting us. Deletion will be completed within 30 days.
You can request a copy of your personal data in a machine-readable format by contacting our support team.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on our website and updating the "Effective date" above.
