Trump's Immigration Overhaul: Mass Visa Revocations and H-1B Fee Hikes Target Asylum Seekers and Skilled Workers

The State Department is preparing to revoke the B1 and B2 tourist and business visas of up to 200,000 foreigners who have applied for asylum, in what would be the largest single mass visa revocation in U.S. history. Spokesman Tommy Pigott confirmed the agencies are coordinating to "identify and revoke" visas of those who entered as short-term visitors but filed for asylum to stay permanently, with the process set to be "rolling" and "dynamic."
