UPI is now live in Greece through a Eurobank-NIPL partnership, making it the 10th country where Indian travellers can pay digitally abroad. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal witnessed the live demo at Eurobank's Athens headquarters, calling it "another important milestone in the global expansion of India's digital payment ecosystem." Greece joins Singapore, UAE, France, Mauritius, Nepal, Bhutan, Qatar, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia on UPI's acceptance map.
