The Trump administration has filed its third emergency appeal to the Supreme Court seeking to allow the U.S. Postal Service to implement new mail-in ballot restrictions just weeks before the November midterms.
Solicitor General John Sauer warned that ballots have already been mailed in North Carolina, with Alabama starting September 9 and at least five more states beginning the week of September 13.
