Iran said Sunday it struck an unmanned US vessel attempting to enter the Strait of Hormuz, the latest in a new flare-up of fighting between Tehran and Washington.
The claim comes a day after the US military said it struck three Iranian oil tankers in response to missile attacks on Navy warships.
This marks a significant escalation in the six-month war, which began with US and Israeli attacks on Iran on Feb 28.
