Canadian sprinting has a new standard. Sadé McCreath of Ajax, Ont., ran 10.86 seconds in the women's 100m semifinal at the Edmonton Athletics Invitational to break the Canadian record. Audrey Leduc, the previous record holder, still won the final, but McCreath's semifinal mark now stands as the national best.
