UN investigators found "reasonable grounds" to believe the US committed war crimes in Iran with attacks on an elementary school and sports center that killed at least 178 civilians, mostly children.
The Pentagon attributed the school strike to a targeting error, but UN investigators said the school was the "intended point of impact" and use of outdated targeting data "went beyond mere negligence."
